* Are you following the majority? *
Once Hazrat Omar Razaullah was walking in the bazaar, he passed by a man who was praying,
* "O Allah, add me to your few people, oh God, add me to your few people" *
Hazrat Umar Raza Allah asked him, where did you learn this prayer? He said, from the Book of Allah,
Allah says in the Quran:
* "And only a few of my servants are thankful." *
(Qur'an 34:13) *
Hadrat Umar (ra) heard this and cried and advised himself,
"Omar! People are more knowledgeable than you, O Allah! Join me among your few."
We see that when we ask a person to give up a sin, he says that most people do it. I'm not alone
If you search for "most people" in the Koran, then "most people"
* "Most people do not know" (7: 187) *
* "Most people do not give thanks" (2: 243) *
* "Most people do not believe" (11:17) *
If you search for * "most" *, you will find that most people,
* "Most are disobedient". (5:59) *
* "More preferable" (6: 111) *
* "Most of the paths are devious." (21:24) *
* "Don't worry too much." (29:23) *
* "Most do not listen" (8:23) *
So put yourself among the * few people about whom Allah has said,
* "My little servants are grateful" (34:13) *
* "And no one believed except a few" (11:40) *
* "In the gardens of fun there is more than the former and a little in later ones" (56: 12-14) *
Add yourself to a few people and don't care if there's no one else on the way and you're alone.
